American model Allison Brooks Janney was born November 19th, 1959. Her work on the screen as well as on stage have received praise over her entire three-decade career. Janney is the recipient of many awards. This includes an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as numerous others. In addition, she was awarded 7 Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney was honored with an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for 2014 Outstanding Guest actor in an Drama Series, after her performance as Margaret Scully on the Showtime series Masters of Sex.
