Zulay Shenao was born in Colombia and is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most notable role has been as Esperanza for the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If loving you is wrong'. Zulay Henao was a character in a number of films, like Illegal tender, Takers,"Boy Wonder" and "True Memoirs of an International Assassin. She was born in Medellin Antioquia Colombia as a child and was able to move along with her family members to USA in the age of four. Henao served three years in the U.S. Army after high school. She also attended Methodist College, while stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina. Later, she studied acting at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Also, she was employed at odd jobs and began her career in the Hollywood scene. In terms of her personal life, the beautiful and skilled actress has a date with American models Joel Rush. Her previous relationship was to actor Terrace Howard. Henao believes that her family should be her most significant thing in her life.
