Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. The daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her most fond memories of watching TV and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a small model in a commercial. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple in 2013.
